Whether or not AC is annulaized too much has nothing to do with the thread, the thread is just about how Ubisoft decided to bring an Assassins' Creed for each gen, so everyone could enjoy the franchise (if they so wish).

If you don't like it, fine, but this thread isn't about bashing AC. Do that elsewhere. 

Based on the way your OP is written, that's exactly what the thread is about.  Did you just want everyone to post agreement with you?  Apparently you would rather we all just post "Yes, you're right, it's a double standard" and move on.

We're not bashing Assassin's Creed.  At least I'm not.  You're asking why there's a double standard.  I'm explaining why some people might criticize one but not the other.

No, the OP was asking why people bash this while liking TLOU:R, which accomplishes almost the exact same thing.

I did NOT compare it to COD or NSMB, nor did I mention anything about an annual franchise. That was brought up by you guys, and it's off topic.
