Well, shit! I still hope Nintendo does something with Shadow of the Eternals or heck even Eternal Darkness! It's been 12 damn years since ED came out!

Yep, if Nintendo were to ever do another Eternal Darkness or similar game, it would have to use another studio, hopefully Retro but they have other Western studio partners that might be up for the task.  Just a matter of getting the upper management to see that there is a market for such games on Nintendo systems.

The upcomine Zero/Fatal Frame could be both a godsend, in that it will show there is a market for mature/scary games, and a curse, in that it is a less violent alternative that Nintendo also has control over, for a potential Eternal Darkness follow up.
