Forums - Gaming Discussion - Something Xbox gamers are now saying

But I have said nothing of the sort. Why are you puting words in my mouth, OP :(

Because without generalizing and slightly insulting people the thread is no fun, it seems.

What if instead we generalize and say nice things about each other? Like all Xbox fans are made of candy, and I like your wizard hat.

But I don't like candy...

Then you are probably a Sony or Nintendo fan. I'm fairly sure Sony fans are made of 50 year old scotch and Nintendo fans are made of LSD laced cotton candy. Tho I have no idea if it's true due to all the candy I eat, Scotch I drink, and LSD laced cotton candy I trip on.

MS have so little to do with PC gaming it's hilarious to see such arguments.

To me it translates as "it's not coming to PS4."
So MS exclusive= not coming to PS4.
As of now, DR3 and Ryse are not coming to PS4.

This is foolish. Its coming to non console platforms so if you have a PC you have every reason outside of liking Halo and Gears to ignore the Xbox One. All that is left is Quantum Break. Thats the only big game MS has left to lose before people start to understand that the methodology that hurt them from last gen hasnt changed.

So now RYSE and DR3 are big games.

Dead rising is not a big franchise. Its a good game during a new gen and a gaming drought. It never has been. Ryse is a poormans hack n slash with top notch graphics and mo cap. There are better games in genre and crytek dont make very compelling games.  This is my opinion so lets leave it at that.

Ms has a lot to do with pc gaming. Misguided statement by leaps and bounds.

Consoles and PCs are not in direct competition. There is of course some cross over but the majority of people I know are console gamers pure and simple...

Outside a handful of key franchises a bunch of ms exclusives have been on pc. This is nothing new and there is absolutely nothing to defend. This has been going on since ms first gen and obviously it has not changed. It does affect sales and it can cause people to jump ship once people enjoy the handful of true exclusives ms actually has pride in and keeps to the console.

Like what specifically? Making pirating software and games incredibly easy? They don't make software for games, they made an OS that most people can get for free. They don't build hardware and they don't build drivers. They have nothing to do with Linux PC gaming yet linux users can play many of the same games on Windows. So how exactly did they have anything to do with that gaming? Same goes for apple. So What exactly have they done?

No, they really don't. MS abandoned PC gaming long ago and is only now trying to slowly re-enter the market. If PC gaming relied on MS the entire market would have collapsed long ago.
