In the case of this generation, again, I am not going to go find the exact titles for you, but the PS4 has DOUBLE the number of games that the XB1 has RIGHT NOW.  Spin that any way you want, but it's true.

Wow, not tht it really relates to this thread, but using the old DOUBLE the games line and saying that the other person needs to spin that.  I think most people will agree with you that the PS4 has a lot more indie titles on the system.  But, as far as retail games go, it is nearly even.  And if you start counting AAA exclusives, it would swing into the XB1s favor.

Did you research before posting? Since titanfall MS has had a big drought, on ps4 we had FF14, TLOU relaster, MLB the show which is amazing, no ps4 has more retail exclusives and total games.

Sorry, but I don't buy that.  Look at "Infamous" and it's graphics, then compare to Destiny.  Bungie OBVIOUSLY kept the complexity of the graphics low so they could give the same experience on the XB1 than the PS4.

When you look at other games, like say Sniper Elite 3...keeping the "bells and whistles" on both versions brings the XB1 to it's knees.  So, again, very obviously, Bungie decided to keep things lower key to let them have parity (as far as the overall experience) across both platforms.  However, I think when the final game comes out, it will STILL look better on PS4.

Really? Think it has more to do with with DESTINY being an FPS.  Types of games have alot to do with what developers decide to do graphically... less to do with parity.

Why are so many PS4 games inferior to RYSE? Did all those games dial it back?  Nope.. has to do with developer choices and ability.  There has yet to be ANY single one game the PS4 (I know. I own both systems) where the PS4 utterly blows away the X1 in terms of graphaical appearence..  Sorry.. just isn't there.  Even with EXCLUSIVE titles..

Umm they aren;t and infamous trumps it easily with a huge open world at 1080p, imaine what ps4 games would look like if they were dipping into 20 FPS and 900p on rails like ryse?? Digital foundry is your friend. The order and uncharted are going to be bigger leaps then any of those, as is drive cliub.

You mean if you segregated "game" into different categories of games.  If you take all the games (indy games, AAA games, exclusive games) and view it - which is the least biased way to view it - you get the true picture and number.

Just took your Idea to a new thread.  Thought that it made more sense there.

It is near the end of the end....

I know. I'm tired of this defense of the xbox one. Just because you can't tell the difference (which I really find hard to believe honestly) doesn't make it not better. It's because fans of xbox don't want to acknowledge that they are buying an infererior product. At this point, there's no real objective argument against the ps4 vs the xbox one. The only real defense of the xbox one now is that you like the exclusives more. And they annoying part about this defense is that people always treat it likes their opinion is the only correct one. If someone would rather play halo than uncharted, whatever, it's their choice. But what annoys me is that many people treat this situation like they like Halo more because it's just flat out better.

So I have a serious question for you. Last gen (PS3 vs Xbox 360), which was the "inferior" product?

In terms of multiplats, the PS3. Now I have a question for you, do you agree?

The PS3 had a couple of HUGE issues last gen.  I felt that it was a FAR better built console, and it had Blu-ray going for it...but it lacked cross-game chat, a robust infrastructure for multiplayer and it was VERY difficult for developers to program for.  That being said...the EXCLUSIVE titles for PS3 late in the gen were OUTSTANDING, and easily beat the best that the 360 could do.

This gen, the PS4 is easier to develop for,has better hardware, has multiplayer infrastructure robust enough to compete, AND it has the chat features they were missing last gen.  PLUS they have better sharing and streaming options.

It's a whole different ballgame this gen.

I think you ignored the part where I said: "In terms of multiplats".

I think you ignored my entire comment.  I was talking about multiplatform games.  They were almost identical, far less difference between the PS3 and 360 than what you are seeing now between the PS4 and the Xbox One...the ONLY advantage MS had was XBL and their cross game chat...which is not even an issue  this gen, as Sony has improved their multiplayer infrastructure and has added cross game chat to the PS4.  And again, I stated that the EXCLUSIVE games were where the PS3 held the advantage.  But hey, I don't feel the need to convert you.  Play what you want, believe what you want.  It wont change the REALITY of what is happening this gen.

COD Ghost looked better on PS4 than anywhere besides a high end  PC, Other than that if your not a graphics whore the gameplay is the same and theres not that big of difference.

It all comes down to exclusives where are yours? I can afford all 3 next gen platforms so I do just that play what I want when i want!
