if it was a remake i feel like they'd use the word remake. perhaps i'm just being hopeful but i get the feeling it is a movie tie-in game so it will have similarities with the original game but also have significant changes so that it follows whatever story/worlds they are doing for the movie. ..so like, half new. or maybe same game assets but different world layouts. i dunno,.. i just figure that if they avoided the terms remaster, remake, and reboot than the game probably doesn't quite fit those definitions. |
Well MSFT did something similar with Phantom Dust. Some of the devs were calling it a sequel, some were calling it a reboot, and some were calling it a remake lol It actually turned out to be a little bit of all three with lots of new stuff, but still a remake, and reboot haha So you could be right about R&C being a little bit of both new and old. Id be up for that personally.
I agree that they should continue the franchise. Crack in Time was in my opinion along with Kameo the best 3D platformers of last generation. I havent played Into the Nexus yet but id love them to continue R&C as long as they get away from stuff like All 4 One and go back to its core.
