Welcome to the human mind. People will not pay attention to the 99% of the time where everything works fine, they will pay attention to and remember when everything does not work fine because that they will notice (this is why a game that works 99% fine but has occasional bugs, will have people talking about said bugs). Frame dips and bugs are particularly egregious of this because they are hard not to notice. Take, for example, Dark Souls which, for the most part, ran stable on PC (after much patching) but most and all gamers of the game will immediately remember New Londo Ruins when discussing the graphics and capabilities of the game for the abysmal frame rate drops (or when Havel 360 noscoped them, you know, the bad parts).
People always remember and notice where things go wrong, not where everything works fine.
