I'd probably be more interested in this if I knew anything about Halo lore. I've only played 3 of the games, and the story has always made very little sense to me. Aside from Reach which was pretty great. Maybe this'll get me more interested in the franchise.

I watched Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. It is a slow movie, but with very good special effects, specially for a low budget series, and while the plot it not very good, it's not boring at all. A decent movie.

As for the trailer, I think this serie will be better, but not much better. Will be decent, not memorable.

Video game movies are very rarely good. So I'm guessing that this one probably won't be good either.

question, will i be able to watch and enjoy this even though i never played a halo game?

@Ben i dont think people are purposefully downplaying...the trailer really was pretty average in my opinion.

Is there going to be a big budget movie release for Halo though? I always thought that was the plan.
