Looks neat. Any info on how long it'll be?

Looks like a generic SyFy channel movie with a ton of bland B-List actors put together using an ethnic key. Waiting for an Asian computer expert and a blonde biologist in the follow-up trailer.
My guess the extent of Ridley Scott's involvement is showing up to collect a paycheck for letting them use his name.

It will be streamed in 5 seperate parts originially like a miniseries and then bundled together as a single seamless film once all of it is out, not sure how long total run time will be.

No its his entire production crew making this. He himself is just overseeing it, not directly writing or directing it, but its his entire crew that he uses for his films.

I see. I guess it should be safe to assume that it'll be somewhere in the 2hr range, like Foreward unto dawn...which I still have yet to see, actually.

i think it looks good, a Halo movie on theaters... sounds great.

Foreward Unto Dawn is really good until Chief shows up. I know that sounds strange but the parts with him just feel like they're trying too hard to be cool and it just doesn't feel right. Everything up until that is awesome though. 

So, you're saying that he didn't even bother showing up.  :) jk

But I know of the director, he is Croatian, and he is just a paint-by-the-numbers plain average director who does an episode or two of various TVshows like Heroes, Prison Break or Under the Dome.

I'm just saying, don't get hyped too much, this will most probably end up a B-grade SyFy series, nothing more. 

Here's an interview with the actor playing Locke, some very interesting hints especially at some Halo 5 plot points. One example is him saying this film is nice to get a perspective of Locke "before the game. Which in the game he'll be an entirely different person."

No one's hopes are overly high, and we are going in knowing what this is. A small film with only a 10 million dollar budget that is in support of Halo 5 Guardians for the fans.

Now please stop, ironically your acting exactly like the people you were trying to call out in my Destiny thread. You aren't an Xbox supporter as is apparent now stop just posting nothing but negative comments. We get it you aren't interested in the film.
