I was expecting them to be a bit higher around 80 - 100k... so look quite low to me..

Considering it's the only non DS or Wii game in the top 17, it didn't do too bad. Unreal didn't do much better in the US either.
Unreal Tournament 3 deserves a lot more then what it got :(
I think its the most underrated game out there, the game seriously kicks butt im amazed :|
Maybe many Europeans already bought the cheaper PC version which has been available for quite a while or bought the US import version.
Or VGChartz has tracking problems for Europe, CliffyB's new interview at gametrailers mentioned Gears of War just sold over 4.5 million copies, which is probably shipped and may include sales for the PC version, but he seemed very happy with that figure. VGChartz has it at over 5 million copies sold for just the 360, I sometimes get the impression UK carries too much weight in the VGChartz data (according to Sony 20-22% of its European PS3 business).
A friend bought the game and if good I may pick up this game later this week.
I think UT will be played mostly on PC in Europe. We use consoles for other games.
"according to Sony 20-22% of its European PS3 business"
Well, they said 20-22% of their European 2007 holiday hardware sales were in the UK.

That figure corresponds well with PS2 figures, 44.79 million PS2 units shipped to Europe by March 2007, let's take 44 million sold to consumers to be on the safe side. 9.2 millions units sold in the UK according to VGChartz in March 2007. That's ~21% UK market share.
It is as I expected really, UT is generally known as a PC game so if you want it you probably already have it for your PC.
Hmm, pie.
Early days just released. Some games started slowly on PS2 and ended up selling millions.
