If I asked my dad "what is Kinect?" I don't think he'd know. He doesn't play many games but he does from time to time. He would probably know it's for the XBox but he wouldn't know it was a camera. That's my point. You said to me that Nintendo made it clear that the Gamepad had off-Tv play, I was just saying, it isn't that obvious.

I agree with you 100% about people shouldn't be ripping on a system they've never played before. Let alone, never bothering to read about its features. This is the internet though, what you gonna do? 

Yeah its a pretty awesome feature. I'm not sure how far you can go from the Wii U till it stops working. I'm gonna test that today.

Yea I have a small 1-level house and I can go around most of it without issues. Cannot go to the bathroom though as there is a utility closet in-between the signal path and it has a metal door and that seems to screw with it too much. But late night laying in bed playing Wii U that is 3 rooms over is awesome.

Does anybody have a 8gb model? how much space does the OS take up? and how big can some of the eshop downloads get? both for older BC games and new Wii U ones
And i assume that i can connect my sony gold headset in the headphone jack?

About 50-60ish - feet for anyone else wondering, depending on what other barriers are in the way. I can take the gamepad into my office next to the living room of my apartment or onto the back patio. Signal drops if I go towards the bedroom or bathroom. Should that mean something? lol

First time i looked into Wii U (system, not games) was around 4-5 months ago. I saw some videos where the tablet was being used as a second screen. That's all i saw

Then a few days ago, bored cause my PS4 went to Sony, i looked up Wii U reviews on YT and Classicgameroom showed it being used as primary. 

And to the guy that said i dissed Wii U; afaik i only dissed things where my opinion still (and never will) changed: my dislike for Mario games (including Kart), Smash bros etc, and games revealed at E3 like Splatoon. I may want a Wii U now but not for those games, but others. Like Fatal Frame, Zelda U, Hyrule Warriors, and X or whatever its new name is.

Wii U also has the best internet browser experience of any console because not only can you navigate and type with the gamepad, but you can have videos playing on the tv while still messing around with websites on the gamepad. (Note: Nintendo doesn't really advertise these kinds of features because they don't really care about advertising non-gaming features of their gaming console like the Xbox One did; it's debatable whether or not that's a good thing)

Personally, I'd go with the 32GB model.

Yes, internal memory isn't as important as you can connect an external HDD, but there are other reasons to get the bigger model like the extra stands to hold the console vertically, the charger/stand for the GamePad (otherwise you have to plug it directly), a sensor bar (who knows, you may find yourself wanting to try some Wii games and it may come in handy) or simply because most bundles are with the 32GB model.
