Forums - Nintendo - What - how did I miss this

All this time i thought the tablet was only used as a second screen. But you can also use it as a primary one and basically use it as a handheld (with the limitation of having to be at home ofc)? I have no idea how I didn't know about that before. I'm not going to explain why this is important to me but it is and now the Wii U is definitely my next hardware purchase (early holidays). Funniest thing is that this will be my first Nintendo console ever. I hope Wii U sales keep going up

Ya, It's pretty sweet.

Something...Something...Games...Something

I do not know how you missed this. You seem to have a very negative opinion about the WiiU in general, yet you didnt know about the main selling point of the console.

How can you not know that?
Thats like the main feature of that thing! :D
Well enjoy the gamepad! :)

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

Honestly i don't know how to feel about this

Literally the very first bit of footage from the first reveal video showed that very feature. It must have been a really long series of insane coincidences that kept that knowledge from reaching you.

Keep in mind though, it's only compatible with certain games, though most do support it. And the range of the gamepad isn't very long, so expect to mostly play on your couch anyway.

Can you blame him? It's Nintendo's fault for not making this clear.

Yes, the Gamepad can actually be quite useful. If only people recognized this.

I didn't pay attention to new console stuff until after all 3 were released. All i knew was hub hub about MS policies and low Wii U sales

Are there any "notable" games that don't support the feature? Range is fine, i'll be using it fairly close, in the same room anyway.

They made it very clear. Off-TV gameplay was THE selling point for it.

Next you'll tell me the PS4 plays Blurays.
