Hoy many tams is ND now?

Because i kind of want something new from them but there is no way there's not gonna be a TLoU2 and if ND is stuck makeing UC and TLoU all gen i'll be a bit sad.
Then again there is speculation of UC4 beeing the last UC (which i don't see happening).

as far as we know its 2 AAA teams. i think this will be the last uncharted if they make TLoU2. i think they will want to make something new and they proved with their last 2 new IP's that they sure as hell can make mega sellers.

I really hope so.

Maby they'll start loaning UC out to some other studios (Bend?) and consult on it like MM does with LBP. Because i don't think sony is going to want to let go of one of their to franchises. But who knows maby UC4 will be an epic conclusion.

I never would have believed it either, this game is selling like crazy. Just 4 months ago they announced 6 million and now they've already sold 7? At what weekly rate is that game actually selling??

There is almost no doubt in my mind that the secret game in development at ND is TLOU 2, everything else would be stupid from Sony.

Hopefully, hopefully...Sony unfortunately done some stupid shit regarding game development, even in very recent history :-/ but yeah I also think it's TLoU 2 and I can't wait 2016 holiday? Would they be able to make it?

Yeah some 2013 PS3 games should have just gone to the PS4 (Puppeteer, GOW:A) but I don't think they'll be stupid with this. 2016 holiday seems like a pretty good date, but that would mean that they would probably have to announce the game before even Uncharted 4 is out that would be a first. Last gen ND only ever released a game every 2 years, so maybe it'll be summer 2017?

Or it'll be:

TLOU:R 2014

UC4 2015 (end of the series)

TLOU2 2016

New IP/TLOU3 2018

TLOU3/New IP 2019

Who knows, but that's what I'd like to see.

7m is truly amazing for a new IP. It may sell another 1m on PS4 really.

Impressive numbers for a new IP. Well deserved though.

Sony has always let ND move on. also, they can always return to the Uncharted series later if they wanted to. i hope they dont loan out the Uncharted franchise, no one can do it justice other than ND.

Could it catch up to Halo 3 which is at 10.5 million once the HD remaster launches?

Amazing for a new IP

...arent you forgetting digital for Halo 3 and MCC?

can we really count if it's in a collection?  How do we know the people bought if for that game?  Do we add numbers to Sonic sales for all the Genesis collections over the years?

Absolutely zero chance of it ever catching Halo 3.

Incredible numbers for a new IP though. Outstanding.

nice shipped figures, like that 2.1 million killzone shadowfall on mid january

edit: still impressive

6 mio 4 month ago

http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2014-03-14-the-last-of-us-sells-6-million-copies

so 250k each month for a year old game in the drought period of the year?

3.4 m in frist 3 weeks

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/09/the-last-of-us-sells-34-million-copies-in-three-weeks

so 2.6m in 8 month july to march or 325k each month (over holiday period)

could be possible, but would be extremely huge
