I agree somewhat, but doubt that Smash 3DS will affect Smash Wii U.

looking at those lines being so similar in shape it looks like ~25% of people who buy a 3DS buy a Wii U.

So I would argue the 3DS is pushing Wii U sales lol.

They should just go "buy the $60€ WiiU version get the 3DS version for free (can only played on a 3DS with the same NNID as the WiiU" so people will want to buy the WiiU version (and a WiiU and then feel like they have to buy a 3DS because they have a ton of games for free)

Also fucking reduce the virtual console prices!

snes 3€
N64 5€
and GC in the future 8€.
Seriously if the N64 games cost 10 will the GC games cost 20 rofl?

I will never buy a single NES game for 5€ but I would buy 30+ if they would be 1€ each. (thats 30€ more than Nintendo earns right now! And all of my friends think the same way)

Either way, the common man hasn't noticed that. For a complete outsider (the type of person who often accounts for ~75% of the install base) it looks very similar on the box art, and on screenshots on the back of the package.

While the DS complemented the Wii.

The 3DS offers a similar but cheaper experience to that of the Wii U.

Yeah, that's the only reason I can see. Probably at 2011 they were desperate with the low 3DS sales and did this move to help it, but now they'll face the consequences. .-.



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
