Lol, changed the title from something positive to fanboy baiting. Good Job.

Ok ok, I'll change it back! The original isn't that different though...

What this game is proving is that the "Oh so smart and money savvy PC Masterrace" can be just as dumb with their money as every other "Console Peasant" out there. I mean just look at the prices in that store.

https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/single-ship-packages

Up to $275 for a single ship?? In an unreleased game?? How can PC gamers even be proud of this whole project?

To be fair, there are also ships available at $30 with the full game, and each ship will be able to be gotten in-game through single-player.

Ok, so buying the ships lets you use them in a beta right now or how does this work?

You can use them in the beta, and you get longer "insurance" than you would if you got them in the normal game. Any ship will be able to be gotten with a bit of patience in the normal game.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

no man sky ? anyone Anyone :D ?

What will he say when the game fail because of rampant piracy and they go under

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Hahahahaha...... lets see where this company is in a few years time. They obviously are off to a great start.

They are, actually. $45 million in crowd-funding alone.

That makes the ships definitely sound not worth the asking price. But hey, if the PC gamer that normally buys everything during Steam Sales, wants to pay that for a ship in a beta of a game to give his rig a run for its money, then so be it.

1. Console gamers dont want this game.
2. Graphics dont mean a good game.

It seems PC only gamers / developers are really jealous. They use consoles as "benchmark" for GPU power. They use consoles as a measuring point. Lol. Console are like Call of Duty from "PC gamers point of view". They dont like it. Yet it sells a ton.

This is why PC gaming will always be in the shadows. When you put horse power as the #1 priority, you're screwing yourself and limited your appeal.

Yup.

Well, hes got the backing of $48 million to say what he wants right now. What an amusing conversation though, 'i wont dumb down' then later on gives conditions to port his game. Though in this case....

“IF the platform holders (Sony & Microsoft) allow us to update the code and data without restrictions and odious time consuming QC procedures, IF they allow our community to openly interact with each other across platforms then I would CONSIDER supporting them.”

what sort of condition is this?

That's the thing, they're carrying absolutely zero risk here unless there is some kind of refunding guarantee, they made $48 million through crowd funding already, they basically don't have to give a damn about what this sells.

Yup.

They have raised more than 48 Million $ via crowdfunding.

I´d hardly  call that "limited appeal" or "in the shadows".
