Anyways, I'm personally happy to see both Robin and Lucina, and it's certainly great that Fire Emblem's most recent and popular game ever is getting some representatives. Robin especially looks to to shake up the swordsman template with his/her magical abilities. I'm hoping that we can alter his/her look ala Awakening. Raven haired Robin is the best Robin!

And of course, Captain Falcon is one of the original 12. Always good to have him as part of the team. :)

Shaping up to be a pretty epic line up in my opinion, but people are still complaining because apparently Nintendo has to run each character by them personally to see if it meets their approval and god forbid we should have a character that other people like that doesn't happen to be from their favorite series.

But w/e. Personally the new characters that have been announced are all I wanted and more, and I'm guessing there will be at least one or two reveals before october, and possibly a hidden character or two. Bring back Ness, Wario, and a reworked Ganon and it'd be perfect in my book. Of course, I wouldn't complain if Shulk and Squirtle snuck in.

Are there going to be clones in this game?

They have sharp metal pokey thingies and blue hair. Clones!!!

I LOVE that they included both Robin and Lucina. Was kinda hoping for Chrom as well, but I'm very happy with what we got :D

HOLY HELL YES! LUCINA IS IN IT AND SHE'S AWESOME AND SO IS THE AVATAR AND HE USES ALL THE TOMES EVEN THE S CLASS ONES. AND THEY CALL OUT MARTH AS THE HERO-KING AND IKE AS THE RADIANT HERO HRNNNNNNNNNNNN. BEST NEWS!

Hm...yes. I am very pleased. Given that I can list an entire Smash roster of Fire Emblem characters, I certain have no issue with four characters from it appearing. It's a dynamite franchise, and deserves the representatives.

To any naysayers, keep in mind that Melee was the reason Fire Emblem GBA ever made it over here, and Nintendo made a big effort in making sure Awakening sold well outside Japan. They know Smash Bros is going to be played by a wide variety of fans...and this is a great way to help the series grow. It's also a franchise that appeals beyond the typical Nintendo fan, which is a boon to this game's sales (heck, look at Ryuzaki's post ;p ).

Anyways, this roster filled out pretty nicely, I'm glad the people who thought the roster would be smaller due to the 3DS limitations have been silenced. I kinda doubt we're gonna get any new characters, even though I would have liked Shulk or Isaac. Funny enough...but when I read this thread title...I thought that Isaac was confirmed, since Robin is his Japanese name. Forgot it's also the avatar in Awakening... XD;
