Will be interesting to see if it is announced for any other platforms given they've comment on the flexibility afforded through UE4.

Hopefully its gonna be a PS4, Xbox One and PC title.

I dont want any cross gen bullshit, so keep it away from PS3 and 360 and all will be well with the world.

Oh , I havent played Tekken yet so I dunno.  At least its not just side scrolling. (no really, DOA you slighly change positions and can fall of things like a bridge....but KINDA sidescrolling too.)

 

Maybe I just dont enjoy the just fully sidescrollers because I had a very bad 2/5  expeirence with Streefighter 4 3D.....

Not quite to the extent it has this gen. There is of course always a transition period (for obvious reasons), but it's never been quite as excessive as this one. Pretty much every major title thus far released has been cross gen. It steals momentum from the next gen systems.

Normally the transition period is slow with both gens getting a stream of gen exclusive titles. This one has been very quick (we are already seeing major series become 8th gen exclusives), but it's been almost entirely cross gen.

No idea which could be considered "better", but i'm glad to see it end regardless.
