The mindless hate Lebron gets is funny. And haha @ comparing him to situations like Tim Duncan, who was drafted onto an elite team, or Jordan, who by the time he was on the Bulls as long as Lebron was on the Cavs, had Phil and Scottie. Or Kobe, who not only bitched and whined to the media wanting a trade when his front office was slacking, but he actually manipulated his draft to go to a better team. And yeah Kobe is still a Laker. Probably because... you know, theyre the only team that would pay him 20+ million a year still. Kobe would be dumb to turn that down.

Kobe staying with the Lakers his entire career was actually a very wise business move.  Too bad he sucks as a teamate though or he easily could have won a couple more rings.

Rape rings are expensive. You'd never see Kobe take a large pay cut to make his team better like the big 3 in Miami/SA did or Dirk just did.

I think overall they are highly overrated especially since they almost lost as many titles as they won and five of those where won when the team was in Minneapols.  Also they really should have changed their name when they moved since I'm pretty sure that there aren't any lakes near Los Angeles.

Even if you take away 5 they still have the second most titles in the NBA and with the whole Lakers name it's way to late now because it's a known brand Worldwide even if the name doesn't make sense.

It actually nice they lost all those titles they will never catch up to the Spurs winning percentage in the finals.  Also right now I would give the Spurs a slight edge when it comes to post Bulls dynasty teams since they only lost once in the finals and the Lakers lost twice and the Spurs actually took care of those pesky Pistons.  Too bad Malone wasn't wise enough to sign with them during that season he would have gotten that elusive ring he actually deserved to win at least once.

Nobody cares. He's a good player, but not great. Just look at the finals. Dude's stat line was a joke compared to MJ's at the same age in the finals (1993 NBA finals...before replying, make sure you look them up so as not to make yourself look foolish).

We are living in a time where we have to CREATE stars, because there aren't any...at least as far as the NBA goes. That's why there's non stop coverage of a player who's 2-5 in the finals.

Well at this point he pretty much knows he is not going to win another ring with the Lakers so he just wants to get paid.  Nash was pretty selfish in that regard also he should have took a slight pay cut and stayed with the Mavs and he would have won at least one ring.

He should NOT be getting the hype he gets based on his play. He's a good player, but that's it.

True but its going to be fun to see how much of a train wreck the Heat is going to be next season they easily can loose 30 more games then they did this season.  Even more depending on what happens with Bosh and Wade.

Sure, and that's fine. Anyone who says he isn't a good player is an idiot. But putting him in the class of GOAT? His stats are anything but. I mean, you can hype it all you want. ESPN can suck him off all they want and tell us he should be in the conversation, but his play on the court and in the finals? The proof is there. It's not going to work.

That's why they hate. He's hyped as one of, if not the GOAT, but he's not even close. That false praise and smoke and mirror thing needs to stop. If ESPN would give that a rest, and realize that no matter what, no one is going to believe them, the hate would slow down and go away. No one hated Malone or Miller back in the day because the media wasn't comparing them to MJ. But that's because MJ was PLAYING and they knew they couldn't get away with it. Now that MJ has retired, it's nothing but smoke up our asses and that breeds the hate.

King James has spoken! I'm a Cleveland Cavaliers fan again! All Haill the King!!
