Forums - Nintendo - Wii U version of Project Cars out in 2015

Wii U gamers don't buy third party games just because.
The fact that the third party games offered to them are all late, gimped or both is just a gigantic coincidence...

That's too bad -- to me Project CARs standout version among fans had to be the Wii U. Multiple polls they conducted suggest that.

As much as I'm happy they're making an effort to really utilize the Wii U, I'm annoyed that they've spent time shipping super-extra-niche features day one for the PC version like multiple 4K displays, nVidia Shield support and VR.

I think I'll still pick up because it looks amazing! Haven't played a racing sim since Forza 3 and GT3.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Did they previously state that all versions of the game would launch simultaneously?

PC players funded the game partly and they are the ones who played all the different builds and helped to design the game. It shouldn't be a surprise that exactly this version does get some extra love.

As long as they release it early 2015, then it's really not that big of a deal and in my opinion. I actually prefer a latter release in this case as my funds will already be tight given that the Wii U has strong first part releases this fall and the PS4 is getting some great 3rd party.

Never before has there been a greater self-fulling prophecy in the history of gaming.

Not at all surprised, but I hope they take a similar super-completionist approach to the final Wii U build as they did with the PC when it does come. Generally, it's been the Wii U crowd along with the PC folk that have been most excited for this game.

Frankly, I feel annoyed PS4 and X1 are getting spoiled with great racing sims this fall -- and that Wii U doesn't have one til 2015 :(

Well, fuck you too, Namco Bandai! >:(
