EVERY game has compromises lol. MK8 just has particularly significant IQ ones since they wanted to hit 60fps. If it hadn't compromised anything it would be running at 1080p/60fps/16xMSAA. Heck, if we wanted to get really fancy we could skip out of the 16xMSAA and simply super sample the entire game from UHD. Yet it runs at 720p/60fps/no AA. That is something we call a "compromise"

Just like the Uncharted series historically goes with hallway and room designed levels, unstable 30fps, and bad draw distances to achieve it's "eye candy". Lol. You know, compromises.

You'd almost think UC1-3 were released on a 7th gen system rather than, oh i don't know, an 8th gen one ^^

It's look a lot better than anything xone has offered, and it's exclusives somehow look like high end PC games....without the framerate.

Pc gamers get better Framerate and Resolution, but dependents on what is your definition of graphics, PS4 graphics have something that we don't see on PC, just looking at infamous SS, I try to compare to a bunch of games but nothing looks like that, the only difference is resolution and framerate. the character models, light effects , particles are very superior to PC games even with more resolution or extra AA. This is maybe due to the lack of AAA exclusives on PC, and something that consoles always will have to their advantage is OPTIMIZATION.

OT: While they look nice and all, Infamous especially, I wouldn't say they're in another level. Especially using un-released games. And dear Lord... Blackb0nd would have had a field day with this thread.

Also, The Order and Uncharted 4 are both linear cinematic games. You would expect them to have good graphics due to the lack of objects needed to be accounted for in the game environment (and before someone starts flaming for it, even Kojima has said that open-world games are harder to optimise for graphics than linear).

Show me any game that looks like Skyrim with ENB and texture mods (it was a last-gen game too), and then I'll listen. As of now, pretty cinematic linear games do nothing for me.

Open world game, in game. no cutscenes.

I could give you more or some of killzone shadow fall if you want. And this is not a linear game since that seems to be ur go to excuse.

Now pls dhow me how pics of skyrim looks better than these or at least 2 to 3 times better as most Pc types would like us to believe. And these aen't even anywhere near the best shots of the game i could show you.
