Will Mario Kart 8 Be the Highest Selling Console Game in Japan this Gen? If Not What Game(s) will Top It?

Only franchises i can think of are Super Smash Bros, Dragon Quest XI (if its true about ps4), or Final Fantasy!? Well there is also NSMBU thats a million seller already

I think Smash could take off big in Japan, you have to remember Skylanders really isn't a "thing" there in Japan (gotta love their xenophobia towards Western games), so Amiibo could really take off alongside Smash.

Final Fantasy XV on the PS4 alone will likely hit over 2 million in Japan seeing as how it's lowest point in the mainline series, Final Fantasy XIII was capable doing above 1.8 million on the PS3 alone in Japan.

What makes you think FFXV will do better? FFXIII got people hyped as well, but the final product wasnt the best...

The PS3 sold 10 million units in Japan. The PS4 is currently at 600k (for comparison, at the same point in the life of the PS3, it was over 1 million). So what makes you think that XV will sell better than XIII?
