nintendo games sell at those prices and it's still unrelated to this topic (nintendo did make the nintendo selects, though). we are talking about a rerelease, not games that don't get pricecuts.

One of the complain people are making is that the game is a rip-off by being 50,00 (even tough it is just a year old and an upgraded version + DLC, so for the same price a GOTY edition cost you still get a lot of upgrades), but some of the same people don't complain about Nintendo pricing scheme.

I think you didn't understand. your coment on "nintendo's pricing scheme" has no relation to the subject: tlou rerelease.

It is related. The topic is about how the game isn't worth it because of the price, and the fact it was released not long enough ago. Many people are complaining about those aspects despite being forgiving about re-releases and their prices when they're made from other console manufacturers.

It is on topic. And illustrates a clear hypocrisy from those typical downplayers who weren't even interested in the game when it originally released for the PS3.

Those will condemn the move made by Sony, but would aplaud and praise the move if it was made by Nintendo or Microsoft.

Do you praise MS for the MCC?

I think it's an awesome move. I will most likely get the collection when I finally get the XBO. And I praised Nintendo for re-releasing WW: I got the special edition WW bundle.

Never played it before so i'll get it. It's as simple as that.

Ok, just making sure;)

I dislike none of the big players. I have my preferences, but you won't see me act as if it's a war in which I'm a mindless pawn. Each of the big three is responsible for a game or franchise that holds a spot on my top list .

Well hats off to you. Youre a rare breed:)

There are more like me than you think. At least, I know a few of them here. CGI_Quality, for example. He has a preference for the PC architecture, but is also a sucker for Sony studios.

I don't know... I consider myself a gamer. Not a Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft enthusiast. I think you really miss out on awesome stuff if you restrict yourself to a single brand. Each has its appeal, and I can't miss out on so many of them exclusive games.

Take MCC for example. Last gen, I really wanted to play Halo 4. But I got rid of my 360 after the second time my console RRODed on me. I've always taken real good care of my consoles, and never had one die on me like this. So my trust in the product took a nose dive. But that game really looked good, as did Forza Horizon and Forza 4... But I decided that buying a console this late in the generation wasn't worth it. But now that they've announced this collection, I will get to play it as well as all the remasters on the collection on a brand new console. So when I finally get a XBO, I'll be sure to get it. =)

Probably because what you call "pricing scheme" most people just understand to be "business".

Why should anyone be afraid, Ferrari? There is *one* article that says it might perhaps not worth it.
What I am afraid of is that this thread has so many replies.
