Burek said: Modern mindset: "If I don't like it, it's stupid and it shouldn't exist! If someone does like it, then they are stupid as well." It's sickening, and yet repeats itself constantly.

Why is it sickening to criticize a corporation? The modern mindset of buying stupid shit is really what's sickening.

But TLOU is no "stupid shit".
- Buyers of the PS3-version who are happy with that version can just keep it... nothing changes for them!
- Buyers of the retail PS3-version who want the best version of that game have the option to sell the PS3-version and get the PS4-version.
- PS4 owners who never played that game now have the option to buy and play that great game
- people interested in buying a PS4 who never played that game now have another reason to buy that console
- PS3 owners who never played that game have better chances to get the PS3-version for a bargain
The only group who is fucked are the buyers of the digital PS3-version... Sony really should give them a discount, especially when they also bought the DLC.
Other than that I see no downsides for the gamers or for Sony to offer the Remastered version. You could argue that Naughty Dog could have invested the remastering time better in another DLC for the PS3-version, but that's totally subjective.
