i think it would have been ok if they just showed a teaser for it and even the ratchet movie was ok what hurt them was the guy that replaced whats his name. he was just boring and took way to much time

He's the president of SCE America, so we'll probably see him every year now.

It felt completely out of place and nearly ruined the conference.

People forget about the very good 1 hour and half of the conference and focus only at the 30 minutes

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I don't mind if they have some TV stuff, as long as it doesn't take too long and is actually good.

right, i don't mind some talk about tv.   but the way it was announced was terrible.

should have been..

  1. guy walks out and says "hi, i'm so and so the creator of powers.  i'm pleased to announced it will be making a transition to an animated series"
  2. roll trailer
  3. "launching exclusively on psn this december free for ps+ subscribers.  thank you"

done.

Glad they realize that, a single misstep like that is always what sticks out in people's minds unfortunately so they'll forget how well things were going until that point and after it. A pretty good conference turns into "terrible" pretty quickly and easily.

Indeed, but then again, most of the people who really were looking for new, and good, things got that and appreciated it. If E3 2015's show has less of the "boring" stuff, it will only add to what was an already fantastic display of upcoming content.

Well I was happy but unfortunately it was spoiled before hand (bloodborne) and everything else was just nice to see but not super exciting.

...

I'm pretty everyone agrees. People tuned out and missed the Ratchet and Clank remake announcement because of it.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

At least he's admitting it was a mistake. Being hyped for that conference in particular, I was extremely bored during that specific part and I wanted it to end. They dedicated like 10 minutes to it, and that wasn't acceptable. For the future, they need to dedicate 5 minutes tops to TV overall.
