Call of duty was the king because last gens hardware ran corridor shooters the better than ever before. However this generation will be the open-world gen imo. Thus I expect some new big open world game to take over.

We should have successful games, but not dominating ones. I used to like COD, but when games like Resident Evil starts taking cues from it, its time for a change...
Destiny. I think....
Why even put BF in that list. BF3 showed the world what you needed to do to compete with COD and boost an IP. BF4, well, that showed what you needed to do to completely destroy an IP.
The age of the corridor FPS is dying. They'll still exist, and I want them to continue existing, but I'd rather have far fewer of them than last gen. The market is going to be flooded with open world this gen if I had to guess.
