That's indicative of a rather large percentage of all folks who claim <insert console here> has no games.

I enjoy these games, specially when they are free on PSN PLUS=D

Well educate me then. Because I only see multiplatform indies, a couple of big games and some japanese games where the title looks like it was chosen by picking some random english words from a hat...
I don't spend as much time gaming as I used to. I usually clock in about 5-6 hours per week. I have nothing against indies, but I feel tyat I can spend more quality gaming time playing a AAA game of my choice. I buy about 6 games per year, plus a couple of annual sports franchises and that's plenty enough for me. So I don't even care about indies, the ones PS+ gives for free I don't even bother downloading.
But I think it's OK that they keep making them, the market will distinguish between quality and showelware.
The only indies I am truly sick and tired of are puzzle platformers. They are dime a dozen nowadays. They really need to quit making those...
There's too much focus on them.
Most of them wont be significant in sales or quality, so there's no real reason showing them all for example at E3.
No Man's Sky, Inside, Ori and the Blind Forest - alright (sry if I forgot anything significant)
everything else - no

People are not ignorant as you think
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I'd rather them show that stuff at the closed to the public E3, and focus more on Gamescom for bigger reveals.
I hate indie games because of what they are or represent like some uber cool art or something and most of those games people consider masterpieces are some character running or flying in a dark lonely world with the same depressing music ugh...

With the decline of large quanity AAA titles, you will only have more indies. We only have two extremes in gaming culture now.
Only indie game I really am looking forward to Is Ori and the Blind Forest.
