I was annoyed by Murphy's levels at first, too, but I kinda got used to them after a few months... Still not a huge fan of those levels though..

Ehh, story isn't the deciding factor for in platformsfs, its art and a sense of fun. I much prefer rayman over 2D because its art is superior and the pacing is much more to my liking. I love 3D msrio but the 2D games have always looked so bland and uninspired to me :(

The Murphy Levels in the single player worked fine for me.

But the AI sucks in the challenges, some sliders work, others are impossible with one player. The platinum rankings are much easier with two players. Some use Murphy with a foot on the touchscreen and control Globox manually.

Another problem are glitches, but it's still by far the most polished Ubisoft game in recent years. I can live with the floaty physics, but they're not 100% reliable like DK or Mario.

Btw: I really don't care about stories in platformers, I never thought about saving princesses while playing Mario games. That's not the motivation to finish the game, lol.

I played the game with two other people, so maybe that's why I really liked the Murphy levels...

The AI on the Murfy levels hasn't ever resulted in a death for me, but it does grind the game to a screeching halt. My advice is to get a friend or avoid them until you have nothing else to do.

I've played this game entirely by myself and have nothing negative to say about the Murphy levels. I think they work great, and it's not like any other publisher uses the game pad any more effectively.

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

I picked up Legends on sale for no cost due to digital deluxe credit, and it's a fantastic game! My only experience with the predecessor, Origins, is through the "Back to Origins" levels I've been unlocking, but from that experience I've liked Legends more than Origins. I'm not liking some of the Origins levels all that much.

When playing solo Murphy isn't exactly my favorite thing ever, either, because I like to get all the secrets in my first run, and I don't always have that chance. Otherwise it's a nice break of pace though. Certainly more fun with a second player.

I'm not sure how reliable it is to make the comparison between Legends and Origins this way, and I may have not seen enough to judge,

meh i got origins on wii cuz all the great fan feedback and reviews and was like the fuck? didnt like it much at all..actually i mustve stopped playing after the second world ....all that to sa i dont have that problem with legends much better level design imo...still dont really like the floaty controls tho and still hate the murphy levels

The level design improved so much between Origins and Legends it's unbelievable. The origins levels are a bonus, so I can't fault them for being in the game, but man are they bland and uninteresting. If anything their pressence in the game makes you appreciate how much better Legends had become.
