Those many are wrong and is hard for them to recognize it, just like the Nintendo fans who can't recognize that MK8 sold well because they are starved for new games.

How very telling, if only you had used common sense instead of "logic" you wouldn't have made this thread.  People buy games they want to play, not because they are starved of them.

blah blah no games Nintendo sucks blah boring blah. Nintendo WiiU has more and better games. Why just a few months sample. Just another attempt to justify the not that impressive sales of PS4 and XOne.

I think that is a blatant oversimplification, and additionally, that principle has been shown to not apply many times in the past (such as games selling poorly despite droughts). MK8 sold largely on its own merits, and due to the promotional offers offered alongside it. There may have been a small boost due to the fact that there weren't many games offered near it (although saying there were no games is misrepresenting Wii U's game lineup), however, that was not the primary factor in sales...
