But I own a PS4 and Xbox One and Wii U and of those games in the OP, I only thought Titanfall and Infamous were worth the money (also bought MG:GZ but thought it sucked). I think everybody was equally starved.

Then Tropical Freeze should have broken records, or Pikmin 3 should of sold millions. Or TLOU: Remastered should do millions.
This is the worst excuse. If you need to play games, why would you wait months, instead of just buying another game?

What did you expect it to sell. Its Mario Kart, whether the userbase were stafed or not it was always going to be a smash hit.
