Cmon, it's not hard. They are both examples of a business fucking up. And are both instances where the consumer needs not apologize or feel bad because the company fucked up.
Also, preorders are generally made for the retail price. I have never seen a situation where a company takes a full price for a preorder, then lowers the price, and does not refund the difference. Like I said before and like it has been pointed out by others, if Amazon or Gamestop or any other place that sells preorders had a preordered game drop in price, you'd either:
1. Be refunded the difference if you have already paid the full price.
2. Have your remaining balance reflect the new price.
This is elementary, standard stuff. I can understand not caring because it really doesn't affect you, but blaming people for actually preordering the game. Insanity. Hilarious, corporate apologetic insanity. And you work retail, so your defending it and blaming customers is even funnier.
