It looked like the Rosalina behind you was a lag ghost. Because the Red shell passed you both, then hit Rosalina after the goal. So obviously the server got the correct position data. But your end didn't. It most likley was your end. The Red Shell hit Roslina and not you. It should of hit you. But you didn't register as existing.

Everyone in the back parts would get welfare bullet bills, while the top 1% get taxed with blue shells to spread the wealth of high position. :P

But yeah, I've concluded that it's mostly stupid At&T. It's tough going from the top 5% global internet speed at my university to what seems like the bottom 1%.

I'd say your internet; after 30+ hours of online playing for me, I've never had that happen to me.

It's just the nature of online gaming. Shit happens. I've had a couple instances of bad lag in MK8, but for the most part it's been good.
