Seriously, this sort of thing happens when one person's packets reach a server faster than yours. You get a desync. This can also happen when you're lagging as well.

AT & T , In mk7, you wouldn't be able to know if they are actually still where you see them before they appear somewhere a long the line and suddenly the shot you thought you aimed great hits the wall or the orher racer finished before you.

It happens.

A) What is your Internet speed
B) How far is your router located
C) How many bars do you have

I never had an issue with my own internet connection in mk8 cause its 25 mbps, router is located right beside it and it has full bars but than again, mine is from Shaw. It also depends on the other players internet as well

I wish so much to be able to do this, but Comcast can't serve my family where we live, so we're stuck with this garbage.

Maybe I can try to bargain with them to get either a better rate or better speed, because this is atrocious.

This is a desync from packet timing being off. Its impossible to tell who's at fault because packet traffic and lagg can come up in any number of places. Your router may be lagging, you may be experiencing packet loss or lagg from signal overlap with other wifi (if on wifi), you provider may be lagging in their connection to the server you're gaming on, and on and on the list goes.

You will see one thing but the game will see something else and will, at some point, "cattch up" and what you see will update.

What does that have to do with anything?  Does it make Nintendo suck less?  That's like me making a fool out of myself on the dance floor and then saying "Well, look at that guy!" At BEST, it means we both suck.

How can you not blame this on OBama? If you had OBAMAinternet you would have lost even before the race began!
