Heh, when I saw the subject I knew it was going to be a shittonne of licensed games (mostly games made from movies or cartoons or similar) and I was right! Obviously mine is a licensed game as well: Disney's Winnie the Pooh's rumbly tumbly adventure for the PS2. I was a kid when I played it (obviously!), but I still realised it was utter shaite when I played it. After that I promised to myself that I would never by a game based on a movie or cartoon again, and I cant say I have missed out on any games I want to play.

Heroes of MIght and Magic quest for the Dragon Bone Staff on PS2. Oh god it was so bad. They took out everything which made the original series so much fun. Of course it was stupid crappy ps2 spin off so I should have known better.

I always consider what the game tries to be if I think about how bad it is. Sonic 06 tried to be the new, cool, stunning, next-gen Sonic and failed. It's pretty much the cause for the recent trend of changing how Sonic plays all the time. Sonic Spinball? Meh. It didn't try much anyway.

The thing is, there's games out there that are barely playable yet they're never brought up in these discussions. If I make a game right now that barely plays right nobody will call it the worst game every created because there's nothing behind it. E.T. Isn't the worst game ever created in terms of how it plays but because of the story behind the game even though there's quite a lot of people who still consider it to be the worst game ever.
