Yes, on Amazon, PS4 is faring much better than XB1. I check it daily. However, Gamestop has had some kind of special deal going that has XB1 "flying off shelves." NPD will be a better indicator, yes.

The Gamestop thing while true, is a huge bottleneck for Xbox One sales...If Xbox One sales don't pick up at all major retailers and Amazon then Gamestop will help, but won't be enough.  And the Amazon thing is huge because the $399 PS4, to my knowledge, hasn't fallen off the 1st page of the Amazon Best Seller's list since the 2nd week in March.

Sunset Overdrive is nowhere as big of a sytem seller as Titanfall was suposed to be, its not gona push throngs of consoles, lots of ppl who dont own a XOne dont even know Sunset Overdrive is comming. Its gona sell well push some consoles but its definetly not gona be a hughe thing.

Technically gamestop is the flat out worst source to listen to. There information is always somewhat slanted. Hell, before launch they claimed that XB1 pre-orders were the best its ever been... while that may have been true compared to the 360, it was a slanted press release conveninetly ommitting that PS4 pre-orders were outstriping it.

That aside, i don't see the XB1 winning the PS4 at $399. Its not like the problem with XB1 was ever "this is the better console but its $100 more" Its been " this is the worse console and should be cheaper than the PS4". At $400, the PS4 is still the better console and the gaming public knows that.

It does seem that way in America, but there are exceptions to most rules. Look how 3DS made a massive recovery after the price cut.

Doubt it... best case SO is on-par with I:SS. Tough IMO it will have lower sales. The real test will be Q4 this year, when it will be seen if SOny can gather enough momentum, to pull so far ahead of the X1, that catching up to it will be impossible.

Failed on multiple levels? Titanfall exceeded sales expectations. 900k physical copies in the USA alone in 3 weeks for XBO and PC is pretty amazing. I know friends who bought the bundle and me including others I know bought the game digitally.

I think Titanfall sold really well, just did not push units too much like people thought it would do.
