Well, it is not a flat out failure. It sold decently. Remember I said multiple levels, not that it was a complete failure. I mainly am basing my opinions on all the hype and what it was supposed to do.

according to fanboys on the internet. we all know those dont really use logic.
its a new IP that had a high metascore, sold 2.8 million at retail alone within just 3 months of sales and no holiday season yet(VGC Numbers), already secured a sequal and is in one of the biggest publishers in the worlds (EA) long term plans for the biggest genre in gaming.
sure, it didnt flat out crush everything in its wake when it released, but thats because of the consoles it was released on. it did push sales, it did help the XB1, but no one game is going to save a console in trouble. calling it a failure on multiple levels doesnt make sense due to the success it has achieved on multiple levels. financial success, success in creating a long term plan, metascore success, good word of mouth, success in pushing XB1 sales. yes, it wasnt the Wii Sports of XB1, but who ever expected it to move millions upon millions just wasnt being realistic.
