This is just an abuse of the change.org site. It shouldn't be used for humor or satire. Besides Link is an elf. He's not white or black. Just a light skinned elf.

You know what? I wouldn't even mind if Nintendo made Link a young black woman. It'd be weird as hell, but even in-universe, you could use it as an excuse to give her a Gerudo-themed backstory or something. Maybe she'd be a rebel within the Gerudo fighting against Ganon, doing stealth missions in desert ruins, pwning Twinrova, etc.

I'd much prefer companies make new series with black and female protagonists in mind, but of all the series to shoehorn this concept into, Zelda wouldn't be a terrible fit.

They could change him to a dark elf. They're more purple than black but that might help lol. 

That's not funny. I'm black and find these kind of racial stereotypes slightly offensive because my sister doesn't talk like that and neither do any of the other women in my family.

They always work. I am pretty sure Nintendo is going to look at this petition and say " Oh shit! We better change Link to a young black female or we'll upset black people! "
