Most Japanese games in generalrarely have black people and honestly, it's probably better that way considering how some attempts to include turned out. I do wonder however, why they pander to white people so much. It almost seems like some sort of complex.

Japanese often draw themselves white. They probably see Link as Japanese.

And that's exactly what I was getting at. I have seen art from Japan where the people look obviously east Asian but most of the stuff they churn out just look like white people to me. This happens even in games that are meant for the Japanese audience alone.

I think link should be al quada..also in call of duty World War II they should allow you to be a Japanese female or natsi..man natsi's are underrepresented

I thought the exact same thing when they showed the Arkham Knight footage at E3. Batman has been an adult white male for far too long.
