I don't think it'll reach 30K to be honest. Barely anyone even knows this game exists.

Yes it is true. 1st person POV gives you more screen space for aiming. It may not make much a difference for enemies close up, but if you are going to go for someone far across the map, a 3rd person POV will be more difficult to manage. Though I do agree that FPS in a 3rd person can be jarring, but I don't know if it will actually be that bad in practice. It doesn't seem much different than a FPS game switching from your regular view to a long range sniper scope.

Most long range weapons do switch to 1st person in TPS that I've played. Thing like assault rifles and machine guns shouldn't, though.
Don't know, not really my cup of tea. Has some nice things here and there, but don't know. And if it will rely on multiplayer, ....wondering how many people are going to buy it to keep a decent community playing.
Still, at least Nintendo is trying.

I suppose it could work out if they handle it like Resident Evil does it.
My initial impression was that the game looked pretty rough, but fun.
We'll see though, i think with enough polish, the game could turn out great.
The character and plot looks bonkers!, the lack of graphical polish and the extreme violence of the game reminds me a little of No More Heroes 1, and those became one of my favorite games of the past generation. I will buy it, looks like something different and fun.
Don't care about the graphics at all. I'm more worried about the gameplay. Looks pretty rough so far.
I'm buying it because of Zelda!

I think it can be pretty cool and, unless it gets terrible reviews from my friends, I'll certainly buy it!
It's going to get better before lauch and, if it has a good metacritic/IGN score and some marketing, I think it might sell reasonably well too.
Even though, I'm not worrying THAT much about sales (which I believe can even reach half-K, but I'm worrying about the game quality (as a game, not only graphs) and at least the last E3 trailer seens nice. Certainly Nintendo is experimenting some different stuff with the Wii U (like this Devil's Third and even Bayonetta2) and I'm certainly getting both!
