I'm not really into this games somewhat forced sexual gameplay style, but hopefully it's not too bad. The story really does interest me though (I enjoyed Darksiders 2 so anything along those lines is interesting).

The inclusion of the first game should help convince some people that were curious about the game to get it. I'm excited for the game but I have a bad feeling that it won't do good, 1 M lifetime is feeling a bit optimistic. Of course I really hope it can push beyond that. Nintendo better advertise the shit out of it on Adult Swim.
well i still think it will at least do better than than the 360 version at least

I would have considered it if it were on the Xbox One. I would say sales would be at least three times as much if it were on next gen

It IS true, though. They CAN be a fanbase for 3rd party games, but not reliably so as shown by the sales of many 3rd party multiplats that do well on other consoles. The reasons why can vary, but what I said is true. |
then, you must consider the audiences for the other consoles as unreliable too. After all, big franchises do well on them but the rest have been pretty meh so far. you also changed the subject from third party to third party multiplatforms.
p.s: that was sarcasm, I don't think the bs/xbox fanbases are unreliable but calling ninteno's audience unreliable is the like saying the same about the others.
Optimistically if everything goes great and Nintendo puts some good marketing behind the game, I can see it breaking one million. If not I say it still has a fair chance to land somewhere around 600-700K.
I think it will do 500k or 700k at the most, but it will increase the WiiU install base in 50k-100k, because Bayonetta have some die hard fans, and, althought some of them are cosplay douchebags posers, some actually play video games.

I didn't change the subject because 3rd party multiplats are still 3rd party games. 3rd party multiplats is just more specific, and it's the best example of why the Nintendo fanbase for 3rd party games are unreliable because you can give a fair assessment on the difference in sales numbers between the consoles.

I mentioned because you seemed to be excluding the exclusive third party games. anyway, aside from the biggest franchises, the multiplats sales are pretty even across the 3 consoles.
