and PC too.   PC games graphics are based on raw power; and so, because of that they have ultra high textures, res and AA, but lack that something UC4 has on the trailer.  I dont know what it is, but it just looks better than everything shown on PC.  Better than crysis with 3000 mods, and better than skyrim with the 50000 mods it has.   They offer nice textures and res, but dont offer that CG feel.

Nothing will come close to Uncharted4(Consoles). PS4 is the most powerful consoles by a significant margin and Naughty Dog are some of the most talented developers on the Planet = Uncharted4 will be the most impressive game on any console by the time it is released.

Absolutely. There won't even be a PC game that comes close. ND is just too talented to compete against. I still don't believe the 60fps part though, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'd say best looking console game, yes

Still Think games like Witcher 3 and Star Citizen are gonna be prettier with much more space than just a pipe you go through.

I'm pretty sure it will.

That trailer looked leagues above anything currently announced for consoles or PC. I honestly thought it was CGI. Even with a significant downgrade I'd say it still has it in the bag.

Just be aware that cut-scenes rendered using the engine are ALWAYS going to look better than actual gameplay.

There is far less to be rendered in a cut-scene, so the textures can be upped quite a bit.


I'm aware of that. Uncharted 2 & 3 used the same technique for cut-scenes and they looked better than the gameplay but it was not a huge difference.

Precisely. ND has shown that they can get the in game models to look 90%+ as good as the cutscene model. Anybody referring to that Chloe image to say "this was a huge downgrade" needs on of these, as they are clearly cherry-picking:
