Pretty old article dont remember the exact details, but if you take into what Yusuf is saying he feels most of that will come from Xbox One sales. You think Yusuf thinks PS4 will sell 750 million while Xbox One, sells 100 million and WII U sells 50 million think about that. 

If Anything MS wouldnt throw out this ridiculous number, if didnt they believed they would be the ones, with the most marketshare and overall contributor to that number.

Ok he is saying the growth would be more than the 400M that was projected. 

He said potential. I believe it would have gotten 500+ if it werent for MS slipping and falling in the beginning and Nintendo doing the same. Coming off a strong generation i could see the potential but not that high. Who would hit on the casuals like N did with the Wii? Everybody? Idk it will be more like 320M now. More than likely Sony leading the way

Definitely agree that digital is the future. Where they messed up is all the bullshit policies and not giving the consumer a choice. They could have pushed digital while still keeping discs as an option.

I remember this article. He is talking about the industry as a whole, not just Xbox One, like how you stated it.

Let's be completely honest here.
Regardless of what goes down, Microsoft will always be the underdog in the console space because japan and similar platform skewed countries will always snub them in favor of japanese owned nintendo or sony.

With that in mind, far short of giving away consoles for $1, the overall vision of the console does very little. There as just as many gamers who were ready to laydown their cash at the original reveal as there was at launch.
