Edit:
We think you can go broader than a game console, that’s our aim, and you can go from 400 million to potentially upwards of a billion units.

Pretty old article dont remember the exact details, but if you take into what Yusuf is saying he feels most of that will come from Xbox One sales. You think Yusuf thinks PS4 will sell 750 million while Xbox One, sells 100 million and WII U sells 50 million think about that.
If Anything MS wouldnt throw out this ridiculous number, if didnt they believed they would be the ones, with the most marketshare and overall contributor to that number.
If digital is the future, then I will stick to the classics. I won't go digital.

Consoles only not handhelds.
At the moment I only own digital Xbox One games and I haven't experienced any Xbox Live outages, so the original policies wouldn't have affected me.
I think they tried to change too much too fast. The future is digital but you can't change everything overnight.
The first step is to make digital more appealing than physical retail discs.

“We think you can go broader than a game console, that’s our aim, and you can go from 400 million to potentially upwards of a billion units. That’s how we’re thinking of the Xbox opportunity as we go forward.”
He doesn'tspecify that 1 billion Xbox Ones could be sold, but it's such a batshit number that to even throw it out there and hint that Xbox's 'opportunities' amount to anywhere close to that is absolutely hilarious! Such a funny quote!
It may be the future but not the near future to say the least.
