It's not Iwata's fault that no one wants to buy the Wii U. Nintendo has been releasing a steady stream of first party titles and third party exclusives that they bought for both 3DS and Wii U. Much more than Sony and Microsoft have for any of their systems. There's really nothing else that can be done other than hope people decide they want to purchase the consoles and purchase the games.

Maybe Bowser will replace him. He's already practicing for Nintendo Directs:

Iwata had little to do with Nintendo's E3. The vast majority if not all of the games would have still been there without him and maybe they could have had even more if it weren't for him.

Iwata is the worst thing that has ever happened to Nintendo, the sooner they get rid of him the better!

Doesn't really matter if he has little to do with E3 or not. He is the chief. Like a President that knows jack about war but takes the credit for the victory or the defeat.

I'm sure the shareholders will be appeased by a female Link and a new Star Fox.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

If it wasn't for Iwata, the SNES would be the last Nintendo console to ever feature a Squaresoft game.

Even though I enjoyed Nintendo's E3 so far, I think Iwata's future depend more on the profits and sales of Nintendo products.

Hopefully the games shown in the Digital Event can help muster a modest sale increase for Wii U and 3DS.

that fight with Reggie should last him untill his retirement

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

kick his ass to the curb. this conference was horrible.

There have been big droughts so there hasn't always been a steady stream of games, but consoles can sell regardless of that when the people in charge actually know what they are doing. PS4 is a great example of that.

When people in charge know what they're doing?  Are you serious?  Sony's management and marketing is easily the biggest joke in the industry.  Well.  Right next to Square Enix.  I'm not going to go into any explanation as it'd be too long of a post, but Sony's management is the worst of the three imo.  The PS4 is selling because it's more powerful and cheap.  That's it.  Not from great marketing or any worthwhile games on the market.

No. I still want him gone. This was all NOA and franchises that would have come back no matter what. Iwata is still a canser to Nintendo who needs to be sergically removed.

No offense, but if you're gonna talk this kinda nonsense, at least spell "cancer" correctly.

Iwata is fine, and he doesn't need to be "gone". If it wasn't for him, Nintendo arguably would not have had the kind of success they did with Wii and DS/3DS. That's about all that really needs to be said, as far as I'm concerned. One stumble does not destroy all past successes.

Don't be a grammar asshole. It's called a typo.

If it wasn't for him, the Wii U wouldn't be the worst selling major console in history. I don't care about his past successes. He's been doing worse than they have ever done for the past three years in a row, and he needs to go.

Just to be an asshole I am going to point out that you said "sergically", but it's "surgically".
