But you have to remember that the PS4s install base is much smaller now as well, and LBP has never been a system seller afaik. Halo Is THE xbox system seller.

you might be right tho that this will be a lot closer than most of us think. Itll be fun to watch!

It has always been a system seller.  The numbers don't lie.

LBP is a system seller? Did not know that =) well then, then this race might be closer then I expected at first, but I'm still pretty sure Nintendo will take this...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

So I have a few responses:

-Mario Kart actually proves my point.  The Wii U's biggest 1st party game of the generation couldn't outsell a third party game on PS4.

-LBP games have always sold well, and it has been a long time since they released a major LBP.

-The last Forza was just released, and so I could easily see Driveclub beat that game on a console with double the install and no racing game yet.  It will sell like hotcakes in Europe.

-Halo: CEA only sold 2.24m on a console with a massive install base.  I could easily see the massive win LBP3 has ove Sunset combined with the surplus Driveclub has over Forza beat MS's total.

-Nintendo is just a wild card in my book.  Their biggest game is selling well, but not as well as they need it to.  I doubt their combined 1st party games sales will be beat either Sony or MS this holiday.

i have some for u, too

- driveclub is free (not full version) for every ps+ member

there will be a digital upgrade version for the game

still new ip.

realse in at timeframe with many other blockbusters coming to ps4

if driveclub break 1 mio (non digital) sells, it will be a huge success

- halo mcc will move more units than halo cea. thats a 100% given...

- ms has sunset overdrive, too

sunset overdrive 1 mio

forza horizon 1.5 mio

halo: mcc 3 mio

thats all low figures...

do u see sony selling 5 mio +  copies of driveclub and little big planet?

Add Singstar to the list as its coming late this year, will be shown and date set at gamescon.

Ill take DC LBP SS over the others, you cant beat double the user base this early on.

I can see if people think that Sony might outsell ONE of the competitors, but both of them? Sure, Halo is a remastered collection and Sunset is a new IP, and Forza doesn't sell like crazy, but that's three games, and two are bound to do fairly well (at least in the long run). While PS4 might have the biggest install base so far, we've seen that Mario Kart can really push good numbers for Nintendo, and Smash will probably do so as well. And Nintendo has the most games of the three for this year, even if most of them are pretty niche. I still don't see how Sony could sell the most exclusives... That's why I'm wondering

bolded: NO. want to bet on that?

Sony isn't important for a thread like that but I think it's not sure if Microsoft or Nintendo will have a better season.
But even as a Nintendo fan I go with Xbox One because Microsoft has planned to release two games of its biggest franchises while Nintendo has only (just looking at big franchises) Smash after the other Smash version for the 3DS.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

Those are not "Low" figures.  The Sunset one makes some sense but I can 100% gauruntee you Halo will not sell 3 million this holiday.  Forza will probably sell half of that figure too.

Xbox One but not by much. These WiiU exclusives are always dangerous.
As for the PS4, it is not even in the same league.
