Forums - Nintendo - Amiibo Figurines Pic! Update: Packaging Pics Now and Estimate Pricing ($10-$15)

According to Reggie:

You can expect them to be comparable to the Disney and Skylander products that are on the market. [They cost $10 to $15.]

Don't care at all.

Kinda wish they made them bigger and less cheap looking

I missed this part of the conference. Can someone give me a small summary of what these things are for? or are they the exact same thing as the ones in Skylanders?

Marth and Zelda look pretty awesome (and they are the ones I am gonna buy)

Now the question is... What are the pricing options?

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

They're cool, but kind of useless. Hopefully they're making a game that uses it well!

Thanks!

It's an interesting concept, but is not something I will personally use. I do like the idea of this being more than just a "DLC" like Skylanders and Disney Infinity (at least as Smash is concerned, we'll have to wait how this is implemented on other games).

I hate this on pretty much all fronts. Everyone that asked for this should feel ashamed.

However, the figurines do look high quality(ish.) Which is a neat surprise.

They look cute and all, but I'm not sure if I want to start collecting a bunch of figurines I don't have a place for. This is a pretty good idea to entice children though.
