Wait, VGC just screwed up US numbers even more for the 360.

As of May 3, 2014, VGC actually adjusted the numbers UP even MORE, breaking the 43 million mark! IT'S EVEN MORE OVER TRACKED THAN BEFORE IN THE US BY OVER 2 MILLION.

The number's might be close to how much are in consumers hands, but the distribution is all sorts of wrong.

Oh yes, PS3 is outperforming the 360 with a breathtaking 13k difference, according to VGC!

I wasn't comparing 360 to PS3, I was pointing out that Xbone's baseline is lower than PS3's and barely above 360's which really isn't good to see. I hope Xbone sales will pick up with the big games coming this year...

haha didn't really notice where it was adjusted up. Obviously the US is the wrong place for that.
Should've been Europe and the Others region.

There was nothing stupid about the b_e_l_i_e_v_e slogan. When it was introduced certain people were making threads about the ps3 being discontinued. If anything those threads were the only thing stupid. People believed in Sony and ps3 and didn't end up getting disappointed. The people who wanted Sony's demise on the other hand...


Okay, I went back and took the stupid and crap out of my original post.  I forgot when the slogan actually started and I suppose it was around the time PS3 was having a hard time at launch.  I never doubted the PS3 that much but they had a rough start mainly due to the price of the system and very few games at launch.  After about a year or so it was clear that the PS3 wasn't going to fail.  The system sold fine once they reduced the price and got more games.

Wich actualy means the PS3s sales are way bigger since its been in the market for 1 year less tham the 360. The sales/year ratio fo the PS3 has always been bigger.

Probably because they randomly stuffed units on random regions to inflate both numbers to a draw...

No.  Thats not it.  I said thats better because I have been asking for this adjustment for over 18 months, to much abuse and bellyaching from certain sections.

Now I dont have to ask for it any more and dont have to listen to the bullshit from other posters that were denying the obvious fact of significant undertracking.

 

 

 

 


Honestly, anyone who actually mattered never really cared to begin with.
