Forums - Gaming - Halo Master Chief Collection v The Last of Us Remastered.

Which one excites the gamers?

TLOU Remastered 179 44.20%

Halo Master Chief Collection 224 55.31%

Total:403

Personally I do not even see how or why the two would be compared or are even comparable. Is it just because both are remasters/remakes? I mean logically getting 4 games for the price of one is easily the better option. But for me outside of Halo 1 I really don't care for Halo at all...LOVED TLOU though. SO for me TLOU would be better. Now if this was a Gears of war collection then I would take that over TLOU because Gears 1(MP) was my favorite 360 game alongside Lost Odyssey. And Gears 2 Horde mode was awesome.

But even then it would not be comparable....one game versus basically an entire franchise just because they are both "remastered" is a little odd if you ask me lol.

For me it's The Last of Us since I never purchased it.

However, the Halo collection is an unbelievable value. Lots and lots of content.

But.....But...Prepare yourself for a pipe bomb. I think Halo 2 is a piece of turd. Halo 1 and 3 were a lot better.

You're a horrible person! lol while Halo 3 has my heart, Halo 2's multiplayer is unmatched.

the last of what ???? no seriously comparing a remaster of mythical IP like halo to TLOU is just blasphemy whatever is your preference... it's like I were to ask between a Mario collection remaster versus kameo

Yeah The Last of Us can't possible compare to Halo. It's not like The Last of Us was one of the most well reviewed games in history and recieved near universal praise.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I'm just not very interested in Halo so I have to say I will enjoy LoU more. However Halo collection offers INCREDIBLE value and I have to vote for that. If you got an Xbox One and haven't been a huge fan of Halo through the years through virtue of not owning an Xbox (me even though I've played all except Reach and 4) or haven't played it at all (who hasn't?) then it's almost a must buy!

They shouldn't even be compared, Halo has one of the greatest stories of any series, Tlou might reach those epic levels in time, but it is far from there now.

This one is really going to divide people.  Either you care about Halo or you don't.

Personally, I've never played Halo.  This might appeal to someone like me because it's a chance to play the entire franchise.  On the other hand, I'm not sure why people who have already played all of the Halo games would go for this collection.  I wouldn't buy the Last of Us Remastered either, since I've already played it on the PS3.

I would buy both because they're the best versions of their games (and they include all the extras).  Why not have the definitive version?  I won't buy at full price probably and I wouldn't buy a system for them, but hey if I had the system (which I do for PS4) I'll certainly do it

lol, there's no comparison. MC Collection is like TLOU remastered if it also included the Uncharted Trilogy.

Master Chief Collection of course. It's more bang for the buck and it's actually a lot remastered.
I think it will sell significantly more than TLOU.

This doesn't even seem comparable anymore.
Hopefully this forces Sony to drop it's price.

Why would they?  The Last of Us single and multiplayer plus all the DLC remastered for PS4 is perfectly reasonable for full price, it just happens that MS have put this collection together for an incredible value. If we compare all games to this, then $30 would be too much for a new AAA game
