If that is how you're defining it then yes it definitely is the best. Three awesome interface options, soon to be four. Free online that is actually worthwhile and includes an awesome social option. Backwards compatibility. Offscreen vs dual-screen options.

 

Simple fact is - The Wii-U is undoubtedly the Wind-Waker of consoles, too off-key for its time but it will be remembered as the best piece from its era with out much question. Unfortunately that is not gonna do Nintendo any good.
