Superbot was made by former Sony employees. Playstation Allstars Battle Royale was probably a test to see if they were worthy of being purchased by Sony.

They aren't random third party.

Was that after they bought Insomniac, QD, Ready at Dawn, and Sanzaru?

You're just making a presumption. Sony relied on a 3rd party, no excuses.

Dude....look up superbot. The company had been working for the game two years before they announced it in 2011. It was their only game and the employees had worked for Sony before that. THE WHOLE TEAM WAS COMPOSED OF FORMER SONY EMPLOYEES. Its only common sense if you understand how Sony works that they were going through an initiation process. Most of Sony's known third party go through an initiations before they are purchased. They have to meet a certain level of quality and reception before Sony makes them a part of the family. Naughty Dog and Insomniac were Sony partners since the 90's. Microsoft has no such relationship. Their strongest third party relationship is Remedy and that started last gen.

To be fair, Microsoft hasn't been in the bussiness for as long as Sony.

That being said, I agree. Microsoft missed out big time on establishing first-party developers. They let their best developer partenershipe desovle with Bungie, and then screwed up big time by letting Rare waste away.

The same could be said for Sony in comparison to Nintendo who had been out two gens before, but they still decimated Nintendo in their first two gens and built up their first party every gen. Microsoft is in their third generation and their first party is still questionable. At this rate it probably doesn't even matter how many studios they open up based on what they've shown us thus far. Hopefully at E3 they show us a lot that we cannot find elsewhere.

I agree with the second part of what you said for sure.

Ehh, only read the first maybe 50 posts but just as an info, if a game is only on one console or one console and PC it is exclusive or at least console exclusive regardless if it will come to another console some months later.

If Game of Thrones is only on SKY in Germany right now it is also exclusive on SKY even if it will be obviously also on other channels in the future.

And the reason that games like DR3, Titanfall, Alan Wake, State of Decay, Fable Anniversay and so on are also on PC is because Microsoft wants it so. And PC versions do obviously not mean that the chance of these games coming to Playstation is also big. Only that Microsoft as a company involved a lot in the PC business doesn't act as if there is only Xbox.

The game is really fun. I am saying there was no way MS would entrust that game to their first party. Says a lot about their confidence in their own first party.

If MS had no confidence in their 1st party they would all be fired. Instead MS has them working on other projects, not sitting around with their thumbs up their ass.

KI was put in the hands of a studio that employed people with a great track record of working on fighting games.

Its funny that STAGE ignores Playstation All Stars was also put in the hands of a 3rd party. Yet he doesn't question the confidence of Sony for not letting a 1st party handle a unique project like that.

Superbot was made by former Sony employees. Playstation Allstars Battle Royale was probably a test to see if they were worthy of being purchased by Sony. Sony probably didnt want to take a risk on creating a random studio, so they left the investment to them and if they succeeded they would buy them.

They aren't random third party.

Oh dear, being put against the wall makes people write such funny stuff.

And about manipulation, weren't scientific laboratories around the world supposed to use the power of the cell to cure cancer ?

Frankly, when it comes to manipulation, you can't get much more than that. Especially when the fanbase actually bought it.

Let me put you up against a wall if it is so far fetched and you know the truth. What is Superbots history? Where did the workers originate from and why is their first game a Playstation project owned by Sony?

Most normal third party whom Sony kept an eye on to purchase didnt make their first game with Sony. Even Insomniacs games werent published by Sony even though their first game was exclusive to the original PS nearly twenty years ago. This company's first game was a Sony published IP. A deal had taken place. Most companies just are not that lucky and have to work hard to get the deals they have today.

99% chance it will never happen

Praise the One.

More like the whole team is composed of a 3rd party. Am I right?

Seriously dude, you care too much about this.  My only concern is good games regardless of where they come from.

I understand your affinity for Sony, but you disdain for MS is childish. I like Xbox and Playstation, they make each other better.
