They haven't done an HD San Fierro or Las Venturas either.

Also Vice City would limit their creative freedom as they would have to stick to the formula of the original to not enrage its fans.

I think there's a strong possibility that GTA may set the next game in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, or even the entire Texas Triangle. Texas is a big trendsetter these days - for better or worse. Plus, it'd be too easy to parody the extremes of Texas culture (guns, religion, immigration, politics, and the oil and beef industries). Sometimes Texas is almost a parody of itself in real life.


Texas triangle is my prediction as well.

I did'nt think of texas. There's alot of stuff they could do with texas. I mean it's a huge state. I've been there a few times.

Man I hope they wouldn't do Texas. I find Dallas and Houston to be such boring cities. Flat sprawling cities with no character at all.

They could or not.

But I'm pretty sure despite how good VC was they'll make a VC in HD as well since all GTA games after IV are reboots.

Plus its impossible to please old school fans due to the fact that post GTAIV are all modern GTA games while VC and SA were both Pre-2000.

Would be cool if it was a new city though.

Vice City would definitely be great for atmosphere and the beaches but I think the casinos of Las Venturas would allow the developers to innovate with the gameplay and build up over old gameplay elements like how GTA V gave Heists (which were around since GTA: SA) a whol;e new dimension.

Also it would be great to be able to explore an HD version of Area 69.

There's actually a lot that could be done with Texas, given its size, demographics, colorful politics, and the fact that its influence over the US as a whole is probably growing faster than that of any other state.
