As for the other bit, they can still make a pun or two about the US even if the game takes place on another country.

Yeah I echo somewhere in the UK, far more culture to cover (the American gangsta GTA Thing is being overdone) and the Housers should be proud of their heritage. GTA is a British franchise afterall!

Me neither. But I would still like to know where you expect GTA VI to take place than where you wish for it to be.

If they kept it to cities they used in the past, it would have to be vice city. It's not be done for a long time.
But London would be awesome since the getaway has seemingly been forgotten about

Vice City in the modern era wouldn't make much sense as it would lose its wonderful atmosphere and music.

It would also recieve a lot of backlash for not being like the original from fans of the original.

Vice City, tbh I prefer the US setting and I say that as a European.

I suppose but who said it would be in the modern era? They can set these games whenever they want. Just because IV and V were set in modern times, don't mean VI will be for sure unless rockstar said so.

V weren't anything like San Andreas but it was still good. Although the 3 character storyline needs some work in my opinion, it weren't long enough in my opinion  

Looking at the trend of the HD era, I figured out it would be set in the year it releases.

V was not long because it didn't have any filler missions. Though I consider them to be a defining style of GTA games. I want them back.

Well, if we have to go by that, then Las Vegas Las Venturas. Perfect place to create whatever history they want, plus they can add smaller cities nerby as well as the huge desert around it.

But I still belive that they will use a new city.
